Under his guidance, the company secured its insurance broking license and began its journey with a clear purpose: helping people and businesses make confident insurance decisions.
Today, that legacy continues under the leadership of Mr. Tarun Sharma, the company’s Principal Officer. With a B.Tech background, Tarun brought a fresh approach to the insurance industry by transforming the business from a traditional insurance agency into a modern corporate insurance brokerage. Recognized as one of the youngest Principal Officers in the industry, he combined deep industry knowledge with technology to build a customer-first insurance advisory.

Disha Capital Insurance Brokers began its journey with the establishment of Disha Investment Center Private Limited. Focused on investment advisory and securities services, the company was built on a simple goal: helping individuals and businesses make informed financial decisions. This marked the beginning of a legacy that continues to grow today.
As opportunities in the capital markets expanded, so did Disha Capital Insurance Brokers. The company became a registered stockbroker on the National Stock Exchange (NSE), enabling clients to access professional trading and investment services. During the same period, the group also expanded into financial services, merchant banking, and technology solutions, creating a strong foundation for future growth.
With the launch of Disha Capital Services, the group expanded its focus to institutional and corporate clients. This allowed us to support larger organizations with capital market transactions, liquidity management, and specialized financial solutions.
More than two decades after its founding, the group achieved a significant milestone by listing Sil ( SouthernInfo Consultants) on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). This reflected years of steady growth and strengthened the group's commitment to transparency, governance, and long-term value creation.
The launch of Disha Capital Insurance Brokers Private Limited marked the group's entry into the insurance sector. After receiving its IRDAI license, the company began helping businesses manage risks, secure the right insurance coverage, and navigate claims with confidence.
As client needs evolved, Disha Capital Insurance Brokers expanded its capabilities with the launch of Disha Corporate Consultant Pvt. Ltd. and Disha Capital Wealth Pvt. Ltd. These additions enabled the group to offer corporate advisory, wealth management, treasury solutions, and strategic business support alongside its existing services.
The COVID-19 pandemic brought unprecedented challenges for businesses across industries. Throughout this period, the Disha team remained committed to supporting clients with insurance renewals, claims assistance, and risk advisory services. The experience reinforced the importance of being a trusted partner during difficult times.
